SX: Carl Ostermann continues winning streak at the KOX in Leipzig

At the KINGS OF EXTREME SUPERCROSS in Leipzig everything went according to plan. After winning 3 of the 4 events, there was no question who would be crown the winner on Friday and Saturday.

This weekend no one was faster. Carl was in top form and after the time trails and qualifying rounds on Friday, he lived up the expectations as the favorite. But it wasn’t just a walk in the park. After a poor start in the first race, Carl had to fight his way out of the back of the pack finally finishing in third place. After leading from the start to the finish in the second race, it was enough for him to be named overall winner for the day.

Saturday on the other hand was a done deal. With two commanding victories in events that day, the ten-year-old from Bonn didn’t give his competitors a chance and was the undisputed winner that day. Around 7,000 fans in a sold out stadium cheered on the new SX4 champion.

Carl after taking the podium on Saturday:

“This was my first time here in Leipzig and it was a ton of fun. Fantastic track, great atmosphere and winning – It doesn’t get better than this. What I wasn’t counting on was the massive support from the fans here. THANK YOU LEIPZIG!”
