The winner takes it all!

Carl Ostermann defends his title to become the ADAC SX CUP Champion 2018/2019 and “Little Prince of Dortmund”!

A convincing farewell performance from the FOX-Youngster Carl Ostermann! Cleaning up with three straight race wins, the 14-year-old from Bonn highlighted his skill leaving his competitors without a hope in the completely sold-out Westfalenhalle in Dortmund. On a technically demanding track Carl took his final title in the SX3 Class with a maximum point score, confidently winning the ADAC SX CUP 2018/2019. His final race weekend prior to the change to the SX2 class could not have gone better!

Carl after the last race on Sunday evening:

I was only thinking about each race as it came and just did what I had to do. In contrast to last year, I had a comfortable point advantage for Dortmund. But even so, those points can be exhausted quickly through a slip-up or damage, so I needed full concentration. It was only first on Sunday evening that I realized that my time with the 85er was over. I’m planning to be part of it again next year! But in the SX2 class with the “big boys”; I already know all about that!

Seb Tortelli:

It was the perfect finish to the SX3 class. Carl had delivered such an impressive performance throughout the whole competition. He worked hard for it and I’m really happy for him. In motorsport, however, such a success is already history. The new challenge is SX2 and begins this coming weekend in Belfast! Carl fits all the criteria and has got what it takes to fight his way to the top in this class too. Really, we’re taking on this challenge together!
