Maximum speed was needed right from the start on the quick and not very technical track in Belfast. Not exactly ideal conditions for a supercrosser, but at Arenacross that happens from time to time. Carl led the way effortlessly and brought home convincing victories in each event. With an optimal gain of 80 points the FOX-youngster managed to fight his way to the 2nd place in the overall standing of the AXUK Championship.

Carl on Sunday morning before the trip back:

It was more like Indoor Motocross than Supercross, but it was fun anyway. The track was fairly short so that I had to lap other riders quite fast; but by then I was far enough in the lead that I didn’t need to take any risks.

Good job! Double-header for Carl in Belfast! Four motos got him the perfect score. The start was a little off in the first race, but he corrected it and convinced with 3 holeshots in the following motos; the rest was routine at a high level. Good conditions for the next race in Sheffield and the final in London!
